    Hi Jan

Nothing really showing in your logs that would cause this.

Here is a web page that may help speed up your computer by miekiemoes. She has some very good suggestions.
    http://users.telenet.be/bluepatchy/miekiemoes/slowcomputer.html

How much RAM do you have installed? XP needs at least 512MB, 1 Gig would even be better.

I would still bet on a IP issue here I think.

geri they did have connectivity problem. but this was just like the one last week. what really bothers me is that save history 20 days! one day and really only reason i do that is that i use it to get around and to find things.
    i got 2g ram.
thanks for looking at everything and i ll go to the site you found for me.

    Hi Jan
You can change how long the history is stored on your computer.

Open you Internet Options and under Browsing History click on settings, down at the bottom it has an option on how many days to save them. Drop it down to 5 or 7.

20 days, that in itself should not slow down your system much if it would at all.

Make sure you run AFT cleaner regularly.
