Hello,

Every time I search Google it sends to me to an unwanted page, usually to download an anti-spyware program. I've tried downloading anti-spyware programs like AVG, however everytime I type in the address it says that there is a problem loading page as if my internet was out. Other pages seem to work fine if I don't use google to get to them. My laptop is the only one affected in the house. My computer currently has no anti-spyware or anti-virus software because of this problem. I'm also getting warnings about iSpyware affecting my computer which prompts me to download more fake anti-spyware programs. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Parasuccess

Hi and welcome,

Please download DDS and save it to your desktop.
• Disable any script blocking protection
• Double click dds.scr to run the tool.
• When done, DDS.txt will open.
• Click Yes at the next prompt for Optional Scan.
• Save both reports to your desktop.
---------------------------------------------------

Please include the contents of the following in your next reply:

DDS.txt

Attach the following report to your post by clicking the Manage Attachments button under Additonal Options>Attach Files on the composition page. Browse to where you saved the file, and click Upload.

Attach.txt

Next:

Locate the following file & delete it if present:

C:\windows\ntbtlog.txt

Restart the computer
Just before the OS loading screen starts hit F8 as if going to safe mode.
From the advanced boot menu choose "enable boot logging" then hit enter.
Post the following file:

C:\windows\ntbtlog.txt

Thanks :)

Actually, I sent my computer away to be fixed. Thanks anyway, I'll come back if I have future problems.
