Through several installations of Communicator 4.7. I have used (and, on one computer, still use) the User Profile Manager every time I open Netscape. On my newest computer (OS XP Home Edition) and most recent installation of Netscape Communicator 4.79 I cannot, for the life of me, access the Profiles Manager. The browser opens immediately into its one and only user profile and I have not found a way of adding others. Many FAQs relate to the use of the User Profiles Manager but I cannot find one that deals with the inaccessibility of this dialogue box.

    My first guess,
You only have one Profile in the new computer, so the annony User Profile won't open up for you to choose the only profile. :)

To access to Netscape User Profile Manager, (Exit your Netscape)
Start | Programs | Netscape Communicator | Utilities | User Profile Manager.
