    Hi all,

In what folder are SM2 passwords\forms stored? I know in previous versions they had either a ".S" or ".W" extension.

I copied my bookmarks and passwords from SM1.1.18 and the bookmarks are OK; it's just the passwords I need to copy\paste.

The format of the SM2 password file is of the same type as Firefox, i.e. signon.txt (I got three such files. If you know about the other files, you should be able to find the folder.
    It is: C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\Profiles\
xxxxxx.default. The passwords were in the .s file in 1.1.x.
I had been testing SM2 since it became available, so I had created my password file(s) for long time, and I have everything I need. I saw this report in the bad features of SM2.0:
    .
The .w file is the form fill file. Out of luck, again.

    Hi Westside,
Well now isn't that just lovely!

The more I use SM2, the more I think the Moz team are rejects from M$. I mean seriously, if they want us to upgrade from 1.x to 2.0, you'd think that being able to import your stuff from 1.x to 2.0 would be part of the program.

Also, I hate to be a noodge, Westside, but since you've been testing 2.0 (as well as others) since it came out, why didn't you lodge a gripe about this? Having to keep referring to the paper(s) where I have my various and sundry login ID's is a real pain "” especially if it's your main browser.

I have no problem with SM2.0 password, as I developed separately from SM1.1.x (or even earlier). Only a newcomer would try to import from a previous version.
But, I must admit that the developers did a lousy job.
