My HDD on my older laptop which I use as primary for email got corrupted and won't boot. I have Thunderbird installed on my new laptop and was to import the profile folder from my other laptop. I can read the corrupted drive via the USB port of my new laptop and have copies the Profile folder to the Documents section. I tried switching the two files but it did not work. I thought I had the same versions of Thunderbird on both laptops but the newer laptop appears to have different folder names in the Profile folder. In the folder I want to import there is a Mail Folder which had a big size but in the Profile folder I want to import into there is a CACHE folder which appears to have the email files.

Need help to resolve my problem in trasferring my profile
