    1. Export address book from NS 4.79 as LDIF file:
    -open Messenger Address Book
    -Click File: select Export
    -save as Type: choose LDIF
-save it with any name (addressbook.ldif is fine) in an easy-to find location on your hard drive.

    2. Import the file you just saved as addressbook.ldif:
    -open the Mozilla Addessbook
-Select Tools/Import (Address Books should be selected) and Next
    -Select Text File (LDIF...)
-Browse to the location where you saved your addressbook.ldif file.
