import contact from vista to xp

    Hi
    Unfortunately my vista laptop died due to a motherboard failure. Now I want to import contact from my harddisk to my other computer, with windows XP and outlook express.

    I can find the folder contacts on my old harddrive but outlook express is not able to import the contact.

    Does anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks Peter,
    But this way only works if windows mail is stil working. The problem is that my vista computer doesn't work anymore. So i'm looking for a way to convert the contacts from vista to a wab file.

    I must say that I have never used Vista or Windows Mail so I am familiar with neither. I have just migrated from XP to Windows 7 Pro x64 and now use Outlook.

    However it may help if would you post the file format of the Vista contacts folder/file.
