import address book ?

how do i import address book from older W95 "internet mailâ€pgm to new outlook?

And...import old in,sent etc data from a damaged drive to new outlook?

1. Are you still able to access the old damaged drive?

2. Does the old drive reside in the same computer you are using or in a different computer?

3. Do you have a back-up of your old drive and if so does it contain copies of you old address book and OE file folders?

4. I understand the old system was running Win95 but what version of IE were you using?

5. What version of Windows are you using now?

6. What version of Internet Explorer are you using now?

7. Was your old address book a Windows (.wab) address book?

 

import problems????????

i actually have 2 people,with 2 problems,one has old internet mail address book she cannot export to XP

second has a corrupted outlook xpress pgm that cannot be imported to new drive

ALL I HAVE IS FILES WITH EXTENSIONS.MBX,.IDX ,pop3uidll.dat
ETC

4. I understand the old system was running Win95 but what version of IE were you using? >>>I GUESS 4,I HAVE UPDATED NEW DRIVE TO W98,PUT OFFICE 2000 IN WITH IE 6

5. What version of Windows are you using now? >>>98

6. What version of Internet Explorer are you using now? ...IE 6

7. Was your old address book a Windows (.wab) address book?

What is the name of the "old internet mail address book ", Was it from Win95 or a third party software?

When you say "second has a corrupted outlook xpress pgm that cannot be imported to new drive" are you referring to the mail messages contained in OE program?
