99% of the time when i right click on an image while browsing the net i only get the option to save as .BMP , even if i mouse over the pic and its description is for example 123.jpg i still only have the option to save as a bitmap. is there some setting for this that i may have accidentally changed or does it sound like an IE problem? Im using IE5.5 . It never used to do that , it only started a few weeks ago and i havent installed any new software lately.

    win2k
    IE6

Empty your temp internet files, close IE and open IE.

xxx - unless you have a very specific reason for not doing so, setting the browser to dump temporary internet files when you close it is a pretty good idea.

The things are pretty much useless except for the few pages with completely static content and even then, they will reload pretty quickly the next time you visit the site.
