I'm new to Windows groups

Hi all,

I am a freelance writer/modelbuilder who had never touched a computer til I was in my early fifties. Since then I've learned a great deal, mostly by trial and error and occasional help from some very generous computer whizzes. That doesn't mean I know it all. Far from it. Every day I discover something else that makes me wonder if I know anything about computers.

Hope to expand my knowledge here. In fact, the reason I found this site thru following Google listings is a major problem with XP Pro that I'm trying to solve for a friend. If you'll check the XP page, you'll see what I'm dealing with.

I y'all will put up with me, I hope to keep learning and maybe be able to contribute a little knowledge myself.
