    Hello all, long time no post, how you all doing? :)

    I'm getting a pretty constant explorer.exe termination for some reason nowadays

    The problem is, basically the explorer taskbar disappears then reappears a few seconds later, with the icons etc going from the system tray. This occurs Id say daily now, without an error.

    And sometimes, once a week or so, it occurs and I get 2 exploer.exe errors...the first error looks like this;

    The second error comes straight after I click ok on the above error, and at the top left has the title 'SysFader' and pretty much says the same type of stuff as whats in the above image.

    The first image says its an Application Error...any idea how I would find out what application it is, as I assume this is causing this termination. But whats causing explorer to terminate itself when I dont get the error?

    A friend of mine is suffering the exact same problem, both of us are all patched up through Windows Update.

    Thanks in advance
    Liam

    You can either use the debuginator to analyze a crash to find out what DLL crashed.

    Or just use ShellExView to disable all your third party shell extensions, and the enable them one at a time until you find the culprit.
