OK .. The other night, I was downloading off Kazaa, and I downloaded a video (****). Well I watched it, and now on my Windows Media Player ( -- File - Open - the pull down triangle next to file name) its name is still there. I have deleted it from my computer, and cleared my history from Start - Settings - taskbar. But it is still on that pull down. I am embarrassed that it is there, and would like to get rid of it, before my son stumbles onto it. (We share our comp.)

It also is in the same place on the DivX player, although I'm not as concerned about that, as my son never uses it.

    Thanks

    Regcleaner
Go to Tools\Registry Cleaner\Do Them All, when installed.

Javacool does a pretty good job of addressing this with his MRU-Blaster program.

i've been running it in conjunction with a few other of the notables... Spybot, Ad-aware, SpywareBlaster... and it performs admirably.
