I'm a VB idiot

Hi,
I'm new to the BBS, but I joined because I am having a problem and I hope you all can help me out. I am working with Excel, I have a several workbooks full of information, medical information, and I want to build a tabstrip, in VB and have each individuall tab pull up the information on the various workbooks. I also want to set up text boxes in each tab to input information to the various workbooks. I have not got anything like the coding experience necessary to do this, and I am short on time, as well. Can anyone help a poor sailor out?
