    Outlook 2003 SP3 running on XP SP3

The CEO of the company I work for claims that when running spell check on an email (using Word as his editor), he could click Ignore Once on a word and when the spell check had been completed, he could run the Spell Check again and it would pick up the word that he had ignored previously.

Now, he claims that this doesn't work anymore. When he runs spell check and if he accidentally clicks Ignore Once on a word that he wants to change, that word is flagged as being okay and when he runs Spell Check a second time, the word is passed over.

I know he can click Recheck Document in the Options screen, but he claims that he used to be able to just run the regular spell check again and it would pick up the words he had Ignored Once.

Try as I might, I can't duplicate this functionality on my PC. Does anyone know how to configure Outlook to do such a thing?

    TIA

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

I always turn off using Word as the editor since its known to cause issues...

Does hitting the F7 key to do spell check help?

We use Word as our e-mail editor because the signatures that we use require Word for them to work properly. Good times.

F7 works just the same as hitting the Spell Check button and the problem persists.

Have you been through all the varuous "spell" options in both Outlook and Word?

Affirmative! No dice on the options replicating the previous behavior.
