If I download Mozilla or Firefox

and I have Netscape 7.2 already what do I need to do or be aware of so as not to cause problems with Netscape 7.2? I would only get Mozilla or Firefox as a backup in case Netscape become obsolete.

If you decide on Mozilla, create a Profile before you install Mozilla. By doing so, you will avoid having Mozilla try and use the Netscape Profile already in place.

Another option would be to move the existing Netscape Profile to a temporary folder when you install Mozilla. Then the Profile Manager will ask you to create a Profile for Mozilla. After you select a Profile name and it is in your Profiles folder, then you can move the Netscape Profile folder back into place.

If you decide on Firefox, there is no problem as it has a separate Profile folder than Mozilla and Netscape.
