    Hello!

I've had 2 malware issues recently (Virtumonde and win32.joleee.k). They were removed successfully by Spybot / AdAware.

I'm not sure if it is related, but I recently noticed that I have memory problems when I'm working in Internet explorer for a continued period of time. The IEXPLORER.EXE process displayed in the taskmanager indicates a growing size. The more I surf around, the bigger the process size grows, until I get out-of-memory errors related errors like temp-files that cannot be loaded of the system cannot find a specific temp-file. It's something that I noticed first about 3 weeks ago.

    1) Is it normal that the IEXPLORER.EXE process grows? Its starts as approx 20MB, and stps Inetrnet Explorer from functioning properly when it reaches 450 - 500 MB. When I quit the application, sometimes it releases the memory, sometimes it just stays resident, doing nothing but using half my physical RAM.
    2) If it's not, is there a setting which may force it not to store too much data, but unload temp stuff?
    3) Can this be an indication that parts of malware are still present?
    4) I also noticed in the HijackThis process manager that I have 4 or 5 svchost.exe processes running from different folders. However McAfee Security center / Spybot nor AdAware think there's a problem.

I've never had this problem before, and cannot find similar questions through Google at first sight. I hope someone can check if this is normal for the IEXPLORER.EXE process to grow.

Thanks! I have started a thread there, but as I pasted a link inside, it's invisible at the moment, and as a consequence, I cannot add a second mail with the other part of the log. It will go to sleep now, and not be able to log in before I go to work, but I will add the second part as soon as I have access to my malware -forum thread again :)

Yes, I know I did read the message and understood. And I even realize it's necessary to prevent junk and inappropriate links on the forum, so I agree. No problem there. But I did not think about it when splitting the log in 2 parts... So I just wanted to explain why I only posted half the log. And as I pasted a link to this thread in there, people wondering would be able to see why a part was missing. Sorry if it sounded otherwise.
