When I close down Internet Explorer I get this error message:

"The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b ".

I did down load Internet Explorer 7 a while ago and I don't know if that may be the problem or not.

Can anyone out there tell me how to stop this error message from popping up when I am shutting down Internet Explorer???

    Thanks in advance.

The error message does not give any obvious clues .....

I would try disabling all Add-ons in IE (Tools > Manage Add-ons > ....). If that solves the problem re-enable them one by one until the error message reappears. You then have the culprit.

Thank you, I will try that. I just did not no where to start. I really like this board, because I learn a lot about this computer! Thanks again for answering so quickly.
