    Hi everybody.

I'm just curious to know, where all the typed addresses in IE's address bar is kept. I know about

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
    .

But when I delete all the data in this key and open outlook express and click a link in a mail, the clicked link is added to the addresses in address bar. but when i go to the mentioned key in registry, it's still empty. Is there anybody over there who knows where these addresses are kept?

    thanks.

    Here's a clue: TypedURLs

URL's which are not typed (namely those which you arrive at by clicking a link) are not stored under this key.

Just using the Clear History button should clear both typed and "untyped" URL's.

    Hi Brett

    thanx for the feed back.

I know there are a lot of free third part application that can delete the typed and clicked link addresses in IE's address bar without clearing History.

I was just wondering how these programs works and were these addresses are kept.

The first idea was registry. but it seems IE keeps the addresses somewhere else.
