Resolved IE8 shuts down

    I am using IE8 with Windows XP. I am having some issues, the most recent was the shutting down of IE8 when I started it. If I rebooted it was OK. After searching on some of the codes I had I was directed to this website to download and run. Anyone know if this legitimate and safe to use?
    These are the 2 item I searched for.

    Hi rondom.

    NO! That product Fix Cleaner is a total scam and it will NOT fix your IE8 problem. Do not use that program under any circumstances.

    Regarding your IE8 problem try starting IE with no add-ons and see if it crashes. (Click Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tool< Internet Explorer No Add-ons)

    If starting IE with no-addons doesn't work then try this, How to reset Internet Explorer settings.

    Evan, thank you. Mr Fixit did it. A wonderful program. There were 4 items and the only one that was familiar that I used alot was the google toolbar. I wonder if that was the problem? I said to fix all 4 items.
