Usually I can surf the web for about 30 minutes then it will stop responding. The only way to exit IE is by stopping the process.

I was wondering if anyone else is experienceing this and posibly have a fix. It's quite annoying.

Hello Minraja and welcome to the Board,

If there isn't a physical problem with your connection:

One suspect is the cache size for the Temporary Interner Folder, its usually set at a size too big for IE to handle efficiently. The recommended size is between 50 - 100 MB's.

From IE's Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Browsing section > and set the size.

    Thank you Charles.

I have done what you suggested. My cache size was 1024 mb. I haven't had any more problems so far. Strange that I didn't have any problems with IE 6 at that setting but if it works it works.

    Cheers.
