Resolved IE7 limited users- some images are blocked

For my limited users, some images are not showing, just getting the little red X placeholders. For example Google (no Google header) and Google Maps (no map!), and, as another example, bowling.com. With admin rights, no problems. What gives??

I have looked at one MSDB article and my Show Pictures box is checked in IE Tools. I have not run the Toggle Image.exe applet. What gives??? Thanks.

You know, there was a Adobe Flash Player update yesterday. So, I removed, re-downloaded and re installed it, but to no benefit. Help!

 

I tried turning off all Add-Ons, but that did not help, either.

 

See if upgrading to IE8 helps. This was a problem in IE6 & IE7 but haven't seen it [yet] in IE8.

 

I had been thinking about upgrading to IE8. But, seeing this thread again triggered a thought. What if I didn't remove Flash "completely" by using the Add/Remove function of XP (like Norton software)? So, I found a Flash Removal tool on Adobe's site, ran it and rebooted.

Lo and behold, that fixed it!!! After enough reminders from many websites that "wanted" to download Adobe Flash Player, with mixed feelings I did so and had no problems at all. Thanks for your input! I still may upgrade to IE 8 one of these days for its security enhancements.
