    Hi Chrster,

I'm just about to download/install RC1. Don't know if I should wait now or not.

    Regards - Charles

    Hi Charles

I've been running IE 7 RC 1 since it was released - works well for me. Get ahead of the pack and get some usage under your belt before the final version emerges :)

At least you can uninstall RC1 and return to 6.0 - doubt that option will exist after you go to the final version. AFAIK it will be an optional update.

Apparently the problem is MSN versions.

The installation that had a problem is running v8.0

The installation runnning v9.0 seems to be ok.

    Hi Charles

Not too surprising really - I found that the spell checker in the Google toolbar would not work properly with 7, but since Google have updated the spell checker works as it should.

According to this, the final version will be uninstallable.

Interesting - although from my experience of using 7 I doubt I shall want to use that facility, but good to know that it should be there if required.

    Hi Pete,

From my two days experience now with IE7, feel the same way. Like it a lot better than IE6 :)

    Regards - Charles
