    I have the following problem:

Since I updated to XP SP3, IE7 (which was installed before updating) stopped printing to all the installed printers (physical, Fineprint, pdfFactory Pro). When I print or click on "Print preview ", a blank page appears.

IE7 cannot be uninstalled or repaired.

Firefox (now 3 RC1) prints well with all the printers.

    Close IE.
    Go Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools, click on Internet Explorer(no add-ons).
    Will it print?

    Yes it can :)

Uninstall SP3 - uninstall IE7 - reinstall SP3 - install IE7. This restores the ability of IE7 to be uninstalled.

The reason for being unable to uninstall IE7 if it was installed prior to SP3 is that SP3 includes an updated version of IE6. IE7 would try to roll back to the old version which no longer exists - hence the Remove feature is no longer there if IE7 was already loaded when SP3 was installed.

    No, It won´t.

But I solved the problem "reinstalling" IE7. I downloaded the installer and ran it, then rebooted as requested. Now the printing function is working again.

Note that now I am not sure the problem appeared after updating to SP3. Maybe it was caused by a registry cleaning operation made after the update.
