    Has been running fine since a reformat about a month ago...and now!!
    browser freezes after about 5 minutes online. If I stay on the same page no problem...just when jumping around on the web.
    System...98SE,128MB, 800Mz AMD (ask if you need more, have sandra).
    Deleted all temp, ietemp and cookies. Run adaware and spybot daily. Use Antivir and Zone Alarm.
    Sharing cable connection w/router...host works fine.

    Any thoughts? I AM BURNT OUT FROM SEARCHING THE ARCHIVES HERE. Tried it all.

    First thought - try a repair of IE.

    In 98SE go Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > MS Internet Explorer > Remove and from the dialogue box which appears select the Repair option.

    Right click My Computer then Properties after a fresh boot. Under the Performance tab what is the System resources? Do you have more than one instance of IE open when this occurs? Are other programs open? How many programs run at startup? What type of connection do you have (Cable or DSL)?
