When I try to click on a link explorer freezes or crashes. I have no adware or spyware and no virus. I am running windowsxp service pack 2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SP2. I dont know what else to try. I dont get an error number and microsofts help is to ble¡ame it on spyware. I HAVE ALSO DISABLED ADDONS and popup blockers.

    Run System File Checker ....

Start > Run > type in sfc /scannow noting the space before the forward slash and have your XP CD handy. SFC will run and exit without any closing dialogue. To see which files, if any, have been replaced look in Event Viewer.
