I am using Windows Xp and just reinstalled. My Internet Explorer address bar wont search. For example if I want to search for google and type in "google" I get the following in the address bar:

    http:///? google

In the browser it also says page can not be displayed. Any suggestion on how to make this work would be appreciated. Thanks

Was able use site and fix my registry. Was able to use another user which IE address bar search worked and save and import the file to my user registry. It explains how to do this in the link you provided. Thanks.
