    arie, after being notified by microsoft on numerous occasions about IE6 in critical updates i downloaded it. prior to the download my broadband connection worked perfectly. after download it would not connect, i resolved the problem by using GOBACK- ALL IS OK NOW, if i try to download again have you any advice-or should i not bother , many thanks dave waxman

    david waxman--I suppose it is expecting too much, but you might phone your broadband supplier. It sounds like some change has been made in your IP configurations.
    Do you have Zone Alarm on your PC? Some people have reported incompatibility between ZA and SP1. I have both, but my ZA is an old version.
