Can anyone tell me how to set the status bar to appear in all open IE windows? It only appears automatically in the first open window, to view it in any other windows I have to set it manually .
    Thanks

    Welcome. Try this:

    Close all applications
Open Windows Explorer (you can use Windows Key+E)
Select View > Status Bar (you should now see the status bar)
Go to Tools> Folder Options > View tab
    Click Apply to All Folders
Click ok to accept the change
Close that instance of Windows Explorer and re-open.
