IE6 browsers jumps back to previous page???

    Very frustrating -- when I am typing messages on a BBS or yahoo groups, the browser occassionally decides to click back to the previous page (as if I had hit the back button). Some of the sites don't automatically hold the info, so when I advance forward my work is gone.

    I can work around this by composing in Word and pasting, but I'd like to figure out what is going on.

    Does anyone have any idea on how to trouble shoot this problems?

    My system is a Viao PCG K27, running XP Home, with the latest IE6, SP2.

    If you dump your TIF (temporary internet files) and cookies, does it continue to do this?

    Verify that you are not inadvertantly hitting the Alt & Arrow keys as these combos are for navigating forward and backward.
