IE6 and tool bar help

    Hey,
    in internet explorer. when u right click on the tool bar u get the options on what 2 display there. i got a few options there which i dont want. their stupid junk which has got downloaded and installed itsself from somewhere.
    does anyone know how to remove an option from that menu?:confused:

    Not sure if this is what you mean, but if you wish to remove an item currently on the toolbar then right click and scroll down to customize. Click on the item in the "current toolbar buttons" box and then click remove.

    not quite. i taken them off my tool bar. but there in the options menu that comes down. and thats where i want to remove them from. get me?

    Found this through my searching:

    Removing IE Menu Items


    If you want to remove items on the Tools Menu, possibly those left over by uninstalled applications:

    Start Regedit
    Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions
    Delete any of the keys you don't want to show

    Jazcan, thanx that method was close enough. when i went to that location i noticed that wat was on the tool bar. then i scrolled down to toolbar and in there it had the option i didnt want. deleted that and its gone, cheers!
