    Hi,

    Is there a way to specify a mail program other than Outlook, Outlook Express or Hotmail in Internet Options? We're using QuickMail Pro, but every time i click on a mailto: link it launches OE, which we dont use. And QuickMail doesnt appear in the pull down menu. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    (WinNT 4.0 SP6, IE6)

    You can change the file association to open the other program.

    Look for:

    URL:Mail to Protocol

  3. to hide this advert.

    Heck, I don't know. Was hoping you did...Just Kidding.

    Open Windows Explorer->Tools->Folder Options->File Type

    Locate the URL:Mail to Protocol

    Click edit and the rest should be self explanatory.
