IE4 Problem

    My nephew has Win98 and IE4 on his machine as delivered in April 1999 and now IE has packed in and their is no repair feature in this old version. Can anyone explain how I can update IE4 to IE6 when I cannot get on the Internet because if the IE4 problem?:confused:

    Buy a computor magazine that includes a CD with IE on it .

    Try reinstalling windows. If that doesn't fix it (most likely it will) do you know anybody that has IE 6 and a cd burner? If so you can make a cd by copying the "windows updates setup files" folder (if they didn't delete it). Where it's located depends on where they saved it. I believe the default is c:\Windows Update Setup Files.
