    Dear Sirs,

On one PC when I try to run a video from a web site it
runs from the site instantaneously with Quick Time.

On the other PC when I click on the Video link from the Web site the same way, It goes through downloading the video to a temp directory which takes tooooo Looooooong......

Can someone tell me how I would configure this pc to play it instantly as the other PC does....The only thing I have tried so far was to make sure the .mpg file that it is is set to run with Quicktime. This still did not help...it keeps trying to download the file instead of playing it...Thank you for your expertise!!! Have a great day!!

    JD

    JD,

In the absence of any other replies suggest you compare the Quicktime settings of the 2 PC's and ensure that they are both the same - the same, that is, as the PC on which the video streams. Assume you have the same version of Quicktime on both m/c's.

It may be a question of different video cards, video memory, DirectX, even OS or something along those lines.
