    Hello All,

I am new to Firefox. I downloaded it about a month ago when my IE6 decided to stop working, and I've never been happier with my browser. That said, my problem is this: I would like to use the "IE Tab" extension in order to properly view some Microsoft-based pages. I cannot use this extension because my IE appears to have disappeared from my computer, but it has to be in here somewhere. I am also an MSN9 subscriber, and MSN uses a form of IE as its browser (it's called MSN Explorer "). The MSN browser works fine. When I go to IE Tab Options and click the "External Application" button, can I change the path to the MSN browser, or do I have to repair my IE to use this extension?

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Brad

As far as I know IE Tabs uses the IE engine, but, on the other hand the MSN browser seems to override IE. I would try to repair IE, but my experience with IE Tab is limited to the access of Windows Updates, and msnbc.com, which works as with the IE Tabs, as in IE, but I could not tell you what you may find, as I have a pretty healthy system.

    Hi Westside,

If the MSN browser overrides IE, then that would explain why the MSN browser still works properly, where IE will not load anything. I've tried repairing, reinstalling, and tweaking IE to get it to work again. No joy. As long as I can browse using Firefox, I'm happy. And I have the MSN browser to view the IE pages when necessary.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
    Brad
