This just started. Whenever I open Internet Explorer, I can't just type the web address like this.... google.com or www.google.com. I have to include the http:// in there... http://www.google.com. Is there a reason why this has started happening and a way that I could fix this? I never receive an error when typing in google.com or www.google.com, it just never takes me to the site; I have to include the http:// in there for it to work.

    Any ideas?

Thanks so much for your time!

Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete

I checked that and everything is checked for auto complete. Anything else that might be causing this?

    Thanks!

Have a look at bleerii's post in this thread. Number 9 in the thread.

No http:// in IE address bar

In case you don't know how to get to the add-ons, in IE click tools>folder options>programs and then click the manage add-ons button.
