Just recently internet explorer has changed...
Everytime a webpage loads it becomes the active window on the start bar on the bottom of the screen, and so comes up on top on my screen. This means that I cannot browse in another window, or work on a document, without having the processing browser window coming on top of everything else as soon as it has completely loaded. I never used to have this problem, the windows just used to wait their turns...
    PLEASE HELP ME>..

Trying to imagine the problem, but though your post seems clear enough, I can't seem to get a grip on the exact problem
If you are using a tweak program, especially TweakUI, there is an option to prevent applications from stealing focus. You could try selecting that and applying.
Get TweakUI if you don't have it. If you need help finding it, post your OS and I'll give you a link.

I know exactly what you mean, amaxwell. Mine started doing it about a year ago.

Those of us on dial-up have to start a page loading while working on another page in order to save time twiddling thumbs. So, we're typing or trying to click on one page, and the other page that we started loading is now finished - it pops on top of the page we're working on, becoming the active page. So, the page we wanted to work on is no longer active and doesn't accept the input.

Worse yet, there are pages out there that pop up to become the "active" page several times during loading.

We're not talking about pop-up ads, but pages we're trying to load popping up over the page we're trying to work on.

I don't know if that's any clearer, but I would love to have a solution as it's very annoying. I've looked through all the options and tools in IE6 and haven't found the cure.
