Just added SP3 to my XP-Pro and now all the IE windows and shortcuts open in half size vs full window.
Opening of additional links are also in smaller windows.

I tried all the usual tricks such as Ctl+ "X" (using X in the corner), dragging edges and File > Close and File > Exit.

What's the trick to get the windows to open full screen like they did before SP3 since there is no option for that in internet short cuts?

I have always been able to drag them full size and then X out of them with the red X in the top corner and they would open full next time.

    IE shortcut:
Won't hurt to rightclick>properties check and make sure the "Run" dropdown open window is checked for "maximized ". There is usually 3 choices; minimized, normal and maximized.

Thanks guys, I've tried all your suggestions except the Windows Maximizer. Even when the Properties says Run Maximized it doesn't. It's possible that one of my start up programs causes a conflict (?).

For now I found that using F11 forces all windows to run maxmized. All the toolbars temp disappear until you rest the curser up near the top. I'm trying it out, so far not too bad getting used to it.
