IE Mime settings /downloading files

    I've been having a problem downloading exe files from IE. When I click a link to an executable file, instead of getting the option to download the file the quicktime plugin kicks in and trys to play the file as a qt movie. I know theres a quick fix for this but I can't find it. anyone know?

    Regedit to:-

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extension\.exe

    and then export (in case you need to restore) and delete the key.
