I have 3 computors, 1 running xp sp3 with IE6, and 2 running xp sp3 with ie7. All of them keep locking up on the website Chatroulette. They were all running Flash 10.0, and we kept getting a message that it had locked up because of a problem with this flash player. The site advised to upgrade to Flash 10.1, which I did. The site still locks up on all 3 computors, but we now do not get the message that the flash player is the problem. I have also tried this website with Firefox, and still have the same problem. Does anybody have any ideas as to what the problem may be. Many thanks.

I'm sure you know - the issue is on their end;)

I visit another tech site just like this one and have a similar issue with some of the ads they run...They keep telling me to switch to FF...

Its not a browser problem, but rather a crummy site coded by a 17-yr old... what you expect?

Steve, have also tried that, and still the same problem.

Admin, my mate runs Windows 7, and does not have a problem with the site. You are probabily correct re the code, but why does XP have the problem and not 7. The site does have a lot of idiots and wankers on it, but I have also meet some very nice people there as well, as on all of these type of chat sites.

is there a work around the problem or should ijust go up to 7

    Cheers

Windows 7 runs IE8 - which from the security aspect you should be too. Give it a try.

Have gone to windows 8, and still the same problem. Not to worry, one day they might get the site fixed. Thanks to all for your advice.

    cheers
