IE ftp

    I have a website and I use the IE FTP to post my files. I cannot get into it now. My computer either freezes up or I get the searching flashlight in the middle of the page. I'm ready to open up my window and throw this computer out.

    For the meantime, try a simple FTP client like Linos:

    http://linos-software.com:8080/ftpClient.html

    See if the situation with IE changes with time of day. Connection quality can vary a lot and your original access may come back. FTP sites seem to take quite a while to connect in IE.

    Any error messages? Does it actually freeze (flashlight stops) or does it just fail to connect for a long time?
