IE Error Reporting

I have a re-occuring problem that I am unable to solve...as follows ; I constantly receive error messages from Microsoft Internet Explorer telling me to either click the send report button..or...don't send...and as a result..either option I use...I also lose whatever program I was currently in? This happens on a daily basis and I would really appreicate help to stop this from happening. Thanks you for your reply....CC

 

Well, Carol , you hijacked this thread, lol.
This is normal behavior when IE crashes. IE may need to repair itself. Go into Control Panel, open Add/Remove Programs. Then scroll down to the listing for MS Internet Explorer, double click on it. A window will then pop up, select Repair Internet Explorer, click on OK, Be sure to reboot when it is done.
Or reinstall IE.

Hello Highjacker Carol,

It could have become corrupted & just need some files replaced, rather than re-installing. Run System File Checker just for kicks to see if you get any reports of corrupted IE files. If so, write down the name, file extension, version number, Pathway, & size of each file, and report back if you got any. Depending on your version of IE, replacements for corrupted dll's are on several sites.
