IE can't open the web..

    one pc when the ie opened for about 1/2 hour or later, it can't open the web, but when restart the pc , it can work normally.



    the other pc work in the intranet
    the IP is 192.168.1.9
    sub mask 255.255.255.0
    gateway is 192.168.1.5
    prefer DNS is 202.96.128.68
    alternate dns is 202.96.133.133
    the settings is correct
    but the ie can't open web. report dnserror.

    when ping the dns
    it sign:

    A little trick with ping that will save you some time in diagnosing this type of problem is to use the -a switch when pinging an IP address to force a display of the name if one can be found. For example:

    ping -a 202.96.133.133

    It does sound like the PC is having some sort of DNS issue though. I would like to see the IP config values when it first is booted and is working and then again after problems begin. Please do the following and then post the contents of the resulting text file. From a cmd prompt:

    Ipconfig /all > c:\ipconfig.txt
    (do that one first then after problems start)
    Ipconfig /all >> c:\ipconfig.txt

    The first line using > to redirect the results will write the results to a text file (so you will see nothing on screen). The next one using >> will append to the end of the text file.

    You can simply copy and paste the contents of c:\ipconfig.txt to a reply here.
