    Hello,

I work for a web design company. We are having problems with various versions of IE caching flash files. When we change a website by uploading a new flash file, the new file isn't showing up in the web page. The old file is cached somewhere. I've tried deleting every temp file I could find and refreshing the page. However after all methods of refreshing (clicking the refresh icon, pressing F5, pressing CTRL + F5) the old flash file is still displayed. We have a Linux proxy server, but I know the proxy isn't the problem because everything works fine with Netscape.

Does anyone know how I can get the refresh to refresh the flash files?

Might try changing the temp int file settings to "every visit to the page "

SWF's are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder so clearing cached *should* do the trick.

Could this maybe be an issue relating to your ISP's caching of pages as opposed to local caching?

On a slightly different note, have you considered this?
