    Hi all.
    I have an interesting issue.
We have a W2k PC with sp4, IE6 with sp1 updates. We run a web based application that has two buttons that normally sit at the bottom of the IE window on all similar PCs with the same OS and browser. However, this one PC has the two buttons up near the middle of the browser window. The funny thing is that when I log on as administrator, the buttons go to the bottom of the screen where they should be.
Here are a few things I have thought about trying but also wanted some ideas.

    1. Uninstall IE, reboot, and reinstall. Verify it works correctly, the install IE updates one by one and see if one causes an issue.

    2. Make the user a local Administrator and see if they experience the issue. If they don't experience the issue, then what? I don't want to leave them with Admin access on the PC if possible.

    I await your thoughts.

Just an obvious guess but is the screen resolution the same with user and admin?

If possible can you provide screenshots (eliminating any sensitive info) and have you tried another browser?

That's a good point. No, I didn't check the screen resolution ... it didn't stand out as being different but it could be slightly so. I'll check that.

We'll see about the screen shot.
