Besides being super slow compared to Firefox, I have to use IE for a work-related site, IE 'hangs' when accessing a new page. If it persists I hit the red X and sometimes the page will load or the first part of it will load. Sometimes the refresh button works and sometimes I just go back to the previous page and try again. Any ideas? Don't tell me to install IE7 'cause I tried that and had to go back to IE6; the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know. That is also why I haven't installed SP3.

    Thanks

You can try to run a repair of IE. Go to Start\Run, type in "sfc /scannnow" and press Enter. You may need your XP CD handy as you might be prompted for it to replace a corrupt file.
