This isn't really a problem, just a curiosity. I had looked at some screenshots of IE 6 and it was very colorful and cartoonish looking, like WinXP and was supposed to have some stupid toolbar that appears when you float your cursor over a graphic.

Well I downloaded IE 6, and except for the full color icons, it looks just like the old IE. No cartoonish interface, and no toolbar when I float my cursor on graphics. Kinda weird. Any ideas?

I think, from your description, that you mean MSN Explorer-the skin to IE that has the butterflies and AOL look to it. If so, check this http://explorer.msn.com/home.htm and see. It's the download site(page).

IE6 comes integrated with WinXp. As such the I believe the "cartoonish look" you're referring to actually comes from XP, not IE6. I for one didn't think much of the new look so I changed everthing to look more like Win9X.

As for the toolbar it is called the Image Toolbar. To turn it on open Internet Explorer, click on the Tools, Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab, scroll down to Multimedia, and place a check mark in the Enable Image Toolbar check box.

Note: The image toolbar does not display for all images. The image must be at least 200 x 200 pixels to use the image toolbar.

    HTH. :)

Yeah I kinda guessed that after looking at some screenshots and realizing they were of this browser in WinXP. Yeah I looked at the Image Toolbar and it actually seems quite useful. I also like that zoomin thingy they include. And even with small images, if you rightclick them, it gives you the option to email them to someone. That's cool!
