IE 6 Freezing when accessing history

Hi. I have a problem of IE 6 hanging when i access the Address Bar drop down histroy list. I am only getting this when logged in as the regular user of this pc. When i log in as someone else it works fine. I know this is looking like a corrupt profile but i am trying anything to avoid a reprofile as this user is incredibly anal with his settings and will hound me for months getting everything back exactly as it was. Any suggestions warmly accepted.

What OS version (including service pack)?

If start => run => sfc /scannow doesn't fix the problem, I'm afraid you are looking at creating a new profile for the user and moving the settings from the current, bad profile.

This process will usually give the new profile most of the original settings but there certainly could be a couple or three things that need tweaking after you are done.
