    Dear Colleagues

Comming back from my vacations I found out that someone in my office had used my email address in order to registered to some adult content sites. So the first day bcak in my work PC I realised that my email was bombarded with adult content invitations and links. I think I know how to block these emails, but the problem that I have solved yet is to avoid IE poping up with adult site advertising. This is happening every day, a few times during the day without my IE 6 to be running.
Obviously there is a program somewhere which activates my IE.
Cookie deletion did not solve this problem.
For your information I am using Windows 2000 Pro, and IE 6, Netscape Navigator etc. My default browser is IE.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Adult Content pop-up

    Daizy Thanks

I did try ad-aware but it could not stop it. It did find some spy utilities and registry keys which were removed.
It seems that when ever a pop-up is activated in my ie history I see the following link http://cnt.rapidblaster.com/run.run?c=3ABG2BGPOA2OF2OSX1AE0AWOAEISE5SW&v=0.95
If you try to visit it you will see a blank page.
I do not know if this can give you any clues.
    Thank you.

I went to www.rapidblaster.com where it asks if you want to download and install their something which they promise will send "free **** pictures daily...right to your desktop." It's described as "distributed by E Ventures NV. "

At any rate, it may be listed in Add Remove Programs under something resembling "Rapidblaster" or "EVenturesNV "...in which case, you can try uninstalling it there.

You're going to need to go into msconfig and uncheck rb32.exe.
Then, as Miz pointed out....go into add/remove...and remove from there.

If you're unsure how it got downloaded.....take a look under your internet options...then advanced tab..and make sure that you have the check taken out of enable install on demand.
