IE 6.02 will not open some web sites

    :cool: There are some particular web sites in that will not open. The indicator bar gets to half way along and no more happens. Is it something to do with security settings? Everything is set to default

    Can be many things-but I would suspect an overloaded website.
    If you give us some URL examples of these sites other users could check them out and see if that is the problem or comment otherwise.

    Also - what OS are you running? 2K & XP do some interesting things and don't always do them well.

    He is operating Windows 2000-so you may like to respond to the problems on that side as i have never played with NT/2000.

    The site he nominated was an Australian site where I live and I had no problems accessing it-I use XP-he may have just struck a bad time too:
