I'm running Windows XP Pro Edition with Internet Explorer 6.0 and haven't had a problem with shutdowns or freeze ups until yesterday. Now almost every other action it shuts down, is there a way to troubleshoot it or reinstall it or fix it somehow? Thanks.

Try the Internet Explorer Repair Tool...

    Go to:
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Information. When you open System Information, click on the Tools menu at the top of the program window. One of the first tools you'll see is the Internet Explorer Repair Tool. Click on that to run it...

    Good luck!

    New idea !

Try downloading and reinstalling the IE6 package from IE Home after checking out the following MS TechNet article which explains how to fool WinXP into thinking IE6 is not installed...
    Should work...;)
